Many enjoy game as traditional Christmas fare in the Northern Hemisphere but we think its versatility also lends well to its place on the festive table Down Under too.

Ladies who Shoot their Lunch 2009 Shiraz was the highest pointed Shiraz from all the Victorian Shiraz wines in the 2008 to 2010 vintage, winning Silver and 'Best in Class' at the International Wine and Spirit Competition 2011.
The Southern Hemisphere results of the International Wine and Spirit Competition 2011 were released in the morning (UK time) on Tuesday 11 October.

A gentle breeze blew through the vines up in the Strathbogie Ranges and clear skies provided infinite views across the central Victorian plains.

On the evening of 18 August Matt Fowles spoke alongside Costa Georgiadis (star of Costa’s Garden Odyssey SBS) and Graeme Base (author and illustrator of The Eleventh Hour, Animalia and The Waterhole) about lightening our ecological foot print through food choices.
Organised by The Sustainable Table, hosted by the State Library of Victoria and facilitated by ABC journalist Hilary Harper, guests were given a sobering presentation on the challenges facing food production and supply today, and into the future.
