On 9 March ABC's 7:30 report explored the issue of sustainable meat eating with Matt Fowles and the Sustainable Table - a non profit group that raises awareness about food choices whom Ladies who Shoot their Lunch regularly work with.
Matt, a passionate hunter and an avid food and wine man, regularly sources his meat from the wilds of the Strathbogie Ranges.

Game is a wonderfully flavoursome and versatile food – from traditional roasts and braises to curries or kebabs – it can be enjoyed as a healthy alternative to mainstream meats. Many enjoy game as traditional Christmas fare in the Northern Hemisphere but we think its versatility also lends well to its place on the festive table Down Under too.

Ladies who Shoot their Lunch 2009 Shiraz was the highest pointed Shiraz from all the Victorian Shiraz wines in the 2008 to 2010 vintage, winning Silver and 'Best in Class' at the International Wine and Spirit Competition 2011.
The Southern Hemisphere results of the International Wine and Spirit Competition 2011 were released in the morning (UK time) on Tuesday 11 October.
